1. Know that the American West was changed as settlers moved west, railroads were built, Native Americans were pushed off their land, and territories became states. 

2. Know that factories produced goods faster and cheaper as factory owners borrowed money from investors. 

3. Identify ways the Boxer Rebellion impacted China


Science

1. Identify the jobs of bees and learn ways they communicate with each other

2. Complete insect collection and present to classmates

3. Identify similarities and differences between bees and wasps
